Package: ipw3945d Severity: normal
Cannot upgrade to iwl3945/iwlwifi without removing /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-net.rules, which will be regenerated, otherwise udev leaves interface as wlan0_rename in a half-zombie state that keeps network-manager from running scripts appropriately. So the purge rules for this package should clear that file and recommend reboot, or edit that file appropriately to remove the entry inserted by udev when ipw3945 is loaded. See Bug#465471.
