Hi! This bug seems to be basically fixed in current Debian testing/unstable with the following package versions:
mayavi 1.5-5 xorg 1:7.2-5 linux-image-2.6.24-1-686 2.6.24-5 nvidia-glx-legacy-96xx 96.43.01-2 nvidia-kernel-legacy-96xx-source 96.43.01-2 nvidia-kernel-legacy-96xx-2.6.24-1-686 96.43.01-2 (last one being locally built from nvidia-kernel-legacy-96xx-source). The only remaining issues are that: * the resulting foo.pdf is awkwardly slow to load with xpdf * the resulting foo.pdf is only partially displayed by gv * the resulting foo.eps (which is correctly displayed by gv) crashes epstopdf, which is strange and deserves further investigation -- http://frx.netsons.org/progs/scripts/refresh-pubring.html New!
