ZoneMinder is dependent on ffmpeg, but is not linked against it. It is clear from apache error.log: [Wed Apr 09 11:52:47 2008] [error] [client 62.149.31.20] You should configure with the --with-ffmpeg option and rebuild to use this functionality., referer: http://videoserv.colocall.net/zm/index.php?view=watchfeed&mode=&mid=1&scale=100&control= I have fixed this by re-building zoneminder on my box when libavcodec-dev libavformat-dev libavutil-dev installed. So zoneminde can create not only mjpeg, but flash, mpeg and other supported by ffmpeg streams. It will be great to build package for repository with ffmpeg support.
