All I _know_ is that the vm aborts when the first 'real' reboot of windows 98 se as guest os is attempted. It gets through the initial splash screen, but dies before windows proper loads. As I mentioned previously it worked for me once, but before upgrading other packages on my system. This is and indication it may in fact be debian-specific. It may not be supported by Innotek, but this is the open source edition which can support it if the the community so desires, and in fact Innotek's official position is that 98 support is community responsibility because they don't consider it important for their business.
