since I started using linux-image-2.6.24-1-686 xfce-battery-plugin just reports 0% load of my laptop battery even if fully charged. This does not happen with linux-image-2.6.22-1-686. I tried several versions of xfce-battery-plugin package that worked in the past with every other kernel. That's why I'm guessing something changed in ACPI or any other related things that report battery status. I know that this report is a little bit vague and I'd be happy to report more details if you tell me what might be helpful.
