Package: texlive-base-bin Version: 2007.dfsg.1-2 Followup-For: Bug #433481 I looked at these bug reports about mktexlsr going nuts and forking, and I tried removing jadetex, but that didn't help. Removing latex-ucs however did help. I encountered this trying to upgrade from Etch to Lenny. latex-ucs appears to no longer exist in Lenny, so perhaps a conflict with it would be in order for texlive-base-bin.
