Aha... so *that's* why you had that dependency! (I noticed gramps' odd
dependencies while trying to track down what python-minimal was used
for...)

Yeah, that seems OK. It'd be helpful if you'd document the reasoning in
the changelog, something like:

* Depend on python (>= 2.4.4-6) to ensure that python2.5 is considered
  to be a supported version

If a comment like that had been present, I wouldn't have removed your
python-minimal dependency when preparing my patch.
