Hello The bug is also present in fglrx-driver/8.47.3-3
A fix is suggested at http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showpost.php?p=26805&postcount=126 and discussed at http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?p=27696#post27696 It is a bit confusing because the fix refers to authatieventsd.sh as part of the solution and that file is not present in debian lenny/sid.
