Package: svn-buildpackage
Version: 0.6.23
Severity: normal

When svn-buildpackages extracts the orig.tar.gz in a temporary directory
for the build, it doesn't take to care to correct bad permissions (like
lack of read/write rights for the owner) while dpkg-source does this.

This means that the behaviour of a build with svn-buildpackage is
different from a build done in a source package extracted with dpkg-source
-x.

It has just bitten me:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=469036

See the relevant changes in dpkg-source too:
http://bugs.debian.org/390915
http://bugs.debian.org/207289

Cheers,
