Package: cfengine2 Version: 2.2.5-1 Severity: normal I've not found a cause, nor can I tell what is *not* being done :(
This started right after the recent update - and hits all of my machines running cfengine2 (both x86-32 and x86-64)... the kernel level is the the same (2.6.24.4 SMP), but a few machines are really UP. most log entries are exactly the same value, but there is an occaisonal variance... the most common entry seems to be the (at 00000000). kernel: cfagent[9275]: segfault at 7f506260 eip 0830ae3f esp bfa7fbac error 6 kernel: cfagent[21296]: segfault at 7f6e6fa0 eip 0830c73f esp bfb7024c error 6 kernel: cfagent[30537]: segfault at 00000049 eip 00000049 esp bfc3c4dc error 4 kernel: cfagent[1691]: segfault at 00000000 eip 080a5180 esp bf8325d0 error 4 kernel: cfagent[420]: segfault at 00000049 eip 00000049 esp bfa9d30c error 4 There is absolutely nothing I can find in the cfengine log and outputs to say what is segfaulting (and no, there isn't selinux, nor apparmor) running cfagent -Iqvkd1 didn't show anything useful either. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24.4 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages cfengine2 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.20 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.28.4 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdb4.6 4.6.21-7 Berkeley v4.6 Database Libraries [ ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-8 SSL shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.2-6 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii perl 5.8.8-12 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction cfengine2 recommends no packages. -- debconf information: cfengine2/run_cfservd: true cfengine2/run_cfenvd: false cfengine2/run_cfexecd: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
