Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.11-2
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

it would be nice if aptitude remembered the resolver accepts and rejects when you accept a solution and later, invoke the resolver once more.

For example, I wanted to remove Java from my system. So I marked the Java VMs for deletion, but they would creep back in through dependencies, so I had to reject them in the resolver as well. Then, I realized I want to remove more packages, which again triggered the resolver, where I had to mark the rejects again.

Regards
