Package: evince Version: 0.4.0-5 Severity: normal When evince is run from the shell with a file name given as an argument and the file name contains a colon, an error message box with "Unable to open document // Unsupported operation" appears. When I try to open the same file from the GUI, it works properly.
My guess is that evince (or Gnome VFS) tries to use the file name as a URL and it immediately fails, because it does not recognize the URL scheme.
