Here's one entire chunk for a session that showed the problem.

I'm not sure that the listings of the files on the server (via lftp) and
the apt-cacher logs were from the same time, but another possibility is
that the http headers are saying the file is one size and it's really
another.  It would then be impossible for the server to upload all the
bytes indicated.

The last updated timestamp reported by http and that shown in the remote
listing don't match either.

So this could be a variant of the old problem that the http header
information is wrong.  Or, it could be that the lftp and http info were
just from different times.
