Ah, now I see what your "For what benefit?" is referring to. You placed it under a statement of "bogofilter can now use sqlite", so I thought you were asking me the benefit of that (which I thought was a strange thing to ask). Instead, I think you're asking me "for what benefit is a sqlite-enabled build of bogofilter in Debian?" In answer to that question, my answer is much the same: bogofilter is capable of providing that alternative, and I'd like to be able to take advantage of it in a Debian binary package.
