Package: cdrecord Version: 4:2.01+01a01-4 Severity: normal
cdrecord seems to be stuck at 4x CD burning with my Pioneer DVR-109, while my Plextor PX-W4012A burns at the expected 40x with the same blanks, same system, same IDE bus, etc etc. Twiddling with "speed=" or "-speed=" parameters doesn't yield any faster results. cdrecord was run as root. The Pioneer DVR-109 (ctrl-c before dummy burning starts to avoid waiting a century and a half to file this bug report): # cdrecord -v dev=ATA:1,1,0 -sao -dummy testiso Cdrecord-Clone 2.01.01a01 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 Joerg Schilling NOTE: this version of cdrecord is an inofficial (modified) release of cdrecord and thus may have bugs that are not present in the original version.
