I got a very slow network connection since I installed Debian 4.1.2-17. On Internet the max. Speed is 3000b/s and on LAN max. 4MBit/s. The follwing tests i made: 1.) Changed the NIC (3Com 3C905; SysKonnect SK-9821; D-Link 580TX and Netgear GA311) (still slow) 2.) Changed the Cable 3.) Changed the Kernel (tried several ones, still slow) 4.) Changed the Drivers (still slow) 5.) Installed Debian 3.1 and I got full speed: 400k/s on internet 6.) Installed Windows 2003 Server and I got full speed like on Debian 3.1 I think there is an error on the Base System, all installations I tested, I used the base configuration.
