Package: squid Version: 2.5.9-9 I have changed the permissions and group on /var/log/squid using dpkg-statoverride. However, everytime I upgrade squid, the settings revert back even though I've used dpkg-statoverride.
Can the package installation scripts be modified to honor the dpkg-statoverride if it has been configured? Here is the relevant line from my /var/lib/dpkg/statoverride file: proxy adm 2755 /var/log/squid Basic System Info --------------------------- Debian Sarge Linux Kernel 2.6.11 libc6 2.3.2.dsl-21 Thanks!
