Hi Christian,

it happened again :)

the directory /var/lib/mysql/test is back, it's empty, but it's back.
It looks like this:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ll -d /var/lib/mysql/test
drwxr-xr-x  2 mysql root 4096 May 16 08:25 /var/lib/mysql/test
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

The other directories in /var/lib/mysql belong to the group mysql...

I have attached an excerpt from my syslog from the same time. I hope they're
of value to you. They are different from what mysql usually writes into my
log.
