I'm making it grave, as this package is basicly unmaintained (orphaned since October 2004), and while in theory QA maintains these packages, in practice only very occasionally work gets done on bugs. I try myself to at least just read them, but that's not perfect either as I missed the importance of this bug. I'm Cc'ing the maintainers of the reverse depends, as their packages risk removal if this bug is not resolved (hi exmh and topal maintainers!).
