Package: vnc4server Version: 4.1.1+X4.3.0-21 Severity: important
I'm using a German keyboard on the client (tightvnc-viewer on Windows) and would like to be able to input German umlauts with it as usual. However, my ä ü ö and ß always get "stripped" and show up as a, u, o and s respectively. If it's the server's fault it will probably affect more 8bit-ASCII languages and thus be rather annoying to a lot of people. Then again it might be configurable (pointers, please) or the client's fault.
