Hi, There is no standard (like a freedesktop standard) on the way to save album covers for music applications. Every application can store them as they want and change the name/place when they want so as long as there is no standard, Ario will keep a standalone covers directory.
If you really want to use the same directory, you can still make a symbolic link. (ln -s ~/.covers ~/.config/ario/covers) Marc
