Package: bugzilla Version: 2.18-6 Severity: important The bugzilla package assumes that there is only a single bugzilla site. (This is fine as a default, since that makes it easy to install it and have it just work.)
However, it should be possible to set up multiple bugzilla sites as this is often necessary to separate out different projects with different users/administrators/settings/etc. Along with this, it should also be possible for a user with access to a MySQL server, but without any particular local system priveledges to set up a bugzilla installation into his own web area. Currently, this is easier to do by downloading bugzilla yourself than it is by using the Debian package, which is an unfortunate circumstance. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.26-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages bugzilla depends on: ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.0.54-3 traditional model for Apache2 ii debconf 1.4.49 Debian configuration management sy ii exim [mail-transport-agent] 3.36-17 An MTA (Mail Transport Agent) ii libappconfig-perl 1.56-2 Perl module for configuration file ii libdbd-mysql-perl 2.9006-1 A Perl5 database interface to the ii libtemplate-perl 2.14-1 template processing system written ii libtimedate-perl 1.1600-4 Time and date functions for Perl ii ucf 1.18 Update Configuration File: preserv -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
