The default mount option for the / reiserfs partition is 'notail'. Is this something of concern?
According to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reiserfs article, this option is RECOMMENDED: "Tail packing, a scheme to reduce internal fragmentation. Tail packing, however, can have a significant performance impact. Namesys recommends disabling the feature in performance-critical applications" Please note that for any other reiserfs partition besides /, the mount option is just "defaults", which in practice gets interpreted as "rw".
