Package: openoffice.org Version: 1.1.3-9 Severity: normal When exporting an OpenOffice.org document that contains special formatting in the last paragraph (such as indentation, line spacing, etc.) the information doesn't make it into a Microsoft Word export. This can be "fixed" by adding en empty paragraph past the last paragraph with content, but this can add an extra, blank page to the document.
This can be reproduced by creating a new document, and making the following changes in Format > Paragraph > Indents & Spacing: - First line: 0.50" - Line Spacing: Double Add a few good sized paragraphs (two or three pages), and save as a Word document. Open it in Word, and the last paragraph should be single-spaced with no first line indentation. I have experienced this behavior in Word 97 and 2000. I have not tested with Word XP. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages openoffice.org depends on: ii dictionaries-common [openoffi 0.25.9 Common utilities for spelling dict ii openoffice.org-bin 1.1.3-9 OpenOffice.org office suite binary ii openoffice.org-debian-files 1.1.3-8+1 Debian specific parts of OpenOffic ii openoffice.org-l10n-en [openo 1.1.3-9 English (US) language package for ii ttf-opensymbol 1.1.3-9 The OpenSymbol TrueType font ii xml-core 0.09 XML infrastructure and XML catalog -- no debconf information --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
