it looks a little weird to me, but i understand the desire not to bloat
it with additional options. if that syntax works, sounds fine.

agreed.

it would be possible to define custom DHCP options, but i'm not sure how
much patching the dhcp client used in initramfs-tools (ipmasq from
klibc) may need in order to support arbitrary options. would be good to
look into, as that could provide more flexibility.
