[Bill Allombert] > I asked for feedback from Holger about the DOS issue and got nothing.
I assume you are talking about the "Is it possible to get more data on this issue, like the relevant apache logs ?" question in bug #459910. As far as I know, Holger is not a Debian sysadmin, so I doubt he got access to any useful information. > I really do not like the hack in 1.43 and I do not think it belong > in testing. The number of unstable submission is not encouraging. I've reverted it in CVS, and suggest we reopen the old bugs and upload the new version as soon as the stats are updated again. The results from popcon will tell us if it affected the count or not. Then, for the next upload after this, we move to your daily cronjob idea, to spread the load. It is a good idea independent on any load problem on the server. Happy hacking, -- Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
