Here's what I get after running vpbscan: $ sudo /usr/sbin/vpbscan CARD1:OPENPCI:irq=21 sub=0000 bus-dev:04:02 BOARDS:1 I have attached the output from lspci -vvv on the machine with the X100P clone, in case you need that. > > Now, I have no idea where /etc/vpb came comes from, and I have even less > > idea how "cards" was set to 1 in /etc/vpb/vtcore.conf. You're right; I see in libvpb's postinst script: case "$1" in configure) if [ ! -e /etc/vpb ]; then VpbConfigurator || true fi ;; > They aren't conffiles because they are generated from the (supposed) > hardware detected on the system. Well, fortunately I was able to find the workaround mentioned in #466729. I use Broadvoice as my VoIP provider with a bring your own device plan, so Asterisk definitely needs to be up or we don't have phone service at home. The machine runs unstable and I don't upgrade it very often, but sometimes I have to do it to avoid falling too far behind. If something doesn't work after an upgrade and I can't fix it quickly then that means downgrading (don't think I've had to ever do that, though.) > Your fixed .debs will be on the wire shortly ... Cool. Let me know if you need further information from my system. Glad to be of assistance. Cheers, Eloy.-
