Package: sawfish Version: 1:1.3+cvs20050222-1 Severity: important I just installed the update of xfree 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13. Sawfish no longer responds to right-click in background. This is the usual way to get the main sawfish menu. Sawfish does not crash or otherwise behave badly. Still usability is greatly impeded if you cannot access the menu.
I am not sure if this is an xfree bug or a sawfish bug. Fvwm seems to be working fine. I post it here on the chance that a sawfish re-compile will fix the issue. I will attempt a re-compile on my system shortly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.8 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages sawfish depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.8.0-4 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-6 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libesd-alsa0 [libesd0] 0.2.35-2.1 Enlightened Sound Daemon (ALSA) - ii libfontconfig1 2.3.2-1 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.4 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgmp3 4.1.4-6 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.4-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii librep9 0.17-7 an embeddable Emacs-Lisp-like runt ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13 X Window System Session Management ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxft2 2.1.7-1 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxrender1 1:0.8.3-1 X Rendering Extension client libra ii rep-gtk 0.18-6 GTK binding for librep ii rxvt [x-terminal-emulato 1:2.6.4-6.2 VT102 terminal emulator for the X ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii xterm [x-terminal-emulat 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13 X terminal emulator ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
