Easier than stepping back or forward you may use the vi-telex.im file from version 1.3.1 with the few corrections mentioned here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/m17n-db/+bug/103328
But I can't remember if files are truly compatible between 1.3.1 and 1.3.4 since, here at HanoiLUG, we jumped from 1.3.1 to 1.4.0 which perfectly fits our needs.
