It's one side of problem. Sorry, I posted too fast.

1- Same problem is at line "off" above.

2 - Also key asus-wireless-off.sh and asus-wireless-on.sh are reversed.
hotkey ATKD 0000005e is for on
hotkey ATKD 0000005f is for off
in /event directory

3 - Also you have problem here theses lines :

# Update the Asus LED to reflect the new status of the wireless
! isAnyWirelessPoweredOn;
setLEDAsusWireless $?

4 - In fact, there are :
# Pass '1' to light LED and '0' to dark LED in /usr/share/acpi-support/state-funcs
but it's :
# Pass '0' to light LED and '1' to dark LED
You don't really need it since toggleAllWirelessStates do it. But it ensure of that. ok

Do you need a patch with full correction? If yes ask me I will make it.

My laptop is asus A6JC. A6000 series ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
I think it's a standard one since asus_acpi module works well with acpid. I don't need this package but I tryied it and I loose network and I have reported my trouble.

In that case I'd love to receive a tested patch -- I don't have this type of laptop so I can't test it myself, so I'd much rather get a patch from somebody who can actually test it. Thanks very much for figuring this out!

Cheers,
Bart
