I have a theory, still to be tested, that this problem is caused by a dh_python problem that has since gone away. The prerm should be created by dh_python, and it used to be IIRC. subversion no longer builds in unstable though, looks like cdbs problems. I will get it to build, and then will see if a simple rebuild gets us back the prerm. -David
