Well, you _have_ to enable xinerama in xorg (wich may be called otherwise in nvidia binary crap) to enable "one big screen" (otherwiste, you would have to independant screens where you can't move an application from a screen to another). But apps need to be xinerama-aware some they dont maximize to this huge screen, but expand to one.
