Package: libc6 Version: 2.7-9 Severity: important Hi,
I disabled ipv6 with alias net-pf-10 off in /etc/modprobe.d/aliases but getaddrinfo() doesn't care and sends ipv4 AND ipv6 queries to my router. I think this is a bug. Is there a way to turn off the ipv6 queries? This is important to make KDE4 work with some "broken" routers like FritzBox which don't reply to some ipv6 queries. I also reported this upstream (http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5798) but the issue was marked as WORKSFORME.
