It looks like I didn't test the 'opting out of dbconfig-common' branch quite properly after all... I don't quite understand why the postinst would die from this error, though. Were you upgrading a previous installation or installing a new one? I assume you answered 'No' to the 'Configure database for request-tracker3.6 with dbconfig-common' question?
