The cal utility is broken. It only interprets "first_weekday" and not "week". The later keyword has been added in uk_UA locale in glibc 2.7. That's why "first_weekday" should be set back to 1. The GNOME's clock interprets both "first_weekday" and "week" correctly. -- .''`.
