hi. This references an debian sarge install on a Thinkpad with a xircom RBE-100 nic. this hardware works fine on other MS os's, so i dont suspect hardware failure. During install i went to tty2 to confirm ip and it was correct. Install proceeded fine, however, upon reboot, card was detected, configured and was awaiting DHCP ip, but never got one. dhclient eth0 tries x number of times, but never gets an answer. Static IP does not seem to work either. My guess is, installer is using generic pcmcia or xircom driver, but upon reboot it uses a more specific one, which just doesnt work. please advise: Mike [EMAIL PROTECTED] __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
