The e2fsprogs change fixed a critical bug. I think adding new features is much different. Guido, please understand that when you add a new feature to our GRUB Legacy package, it means: 1- One more thing we have to maintain with no support from upstream, untill we migrate to GRUB 2. 2- One more item in the list of stoppers that prevent a migration to GRUB 2.
