Package: python-couchdb
Version: 0.3-1
Severity: normal

The python-couchdb bindings should depend on couchdb somehow, mainly
to make it easy to find from the “Packages that depend on couchdb”
page in aptitude.

Since it’s perfectly reasonable that one might need python-couchdb
without couchdb, probably a “Suggests” dependency would be good.
