Hi, like the original submitter I was annoyed about being disconnected from the WLAN when dbus was stopped during upgrade, and as I was in an active chat I didn't wait until dbus was started again automatically.
Instead I chose to run the dbus init script manually immediately after completed package extraction. Network Manager started again, but couldn't connect to the WLAN, it solely asked again and again for the encryption key. In addition the suspend and hibernate buttons in the system shutdown dialog of gnome were gone. So I had to reboot the system to recover from this problems. Perhaps I interfered too much and so caused the problems myself, but PLEASE add a warning and a possibility to skip dbus upgrade. As this was not the first time I hit this problem, my only other possibility is to set dbus on hold :-( Marc -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
