Hi Erich, Thanks for this bug report. This problem was reported upstream and it seems to be more a xfce problem than an awn problem (https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/awn/+bug/130480). To fix this, you need to apply this patch (http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10696841/xfwm4-4.4.1-dock-window-fix.patch) This patch is already including in the Ubuntu Hardy package of xfwm4 ( 01_dock-window-fix.patch).
This bug was also reported for xfwm4 on Debian bugtracker (#463647). If you have the time, could you test the patch for xfwm4 so I can merge this bug with the #463647 ?
