Package: bacula-director-pgsql Version: 2.2.6-0.1withssl Severity: wishlist
I believe postgresql 8.3 is the target for the next release. The current configuration (I noticed this while building 2.2.8-5, despite the number shown on this report) has some explicit dependencies on, e.g., postgresql-server-dev-8.2. Since I have so far ignored the prompts to migrate to postgresql 8.3, this is not currently causing me any trouble. I do not know if there are any issues that would make the switch difficult. For that matter, I don't know if there's anything preventing the same bacula binary from working against a range of postgres versions. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (990, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages bacula-director-pgsql depends on: ii bacula-director-common 2.2.6-0.1withssl Network backup, recovery and verif ii dbconfig-common 1.8.36 common framework for packaging dat ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.19 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.7-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3-20080202-1 GCC support library ii libpq5 8.3.0-1 PostgreSQL C client library ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-4 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.3-20080202-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libwrap0 7.6.dbs-14 Wietse Venema's TCP wrappers libra ii postgresql-client-8.1 8.1.11-0etch1 front-end programs for PostgreSQL ii postgresql-client-8.2 [ 8.2.6-2 front-end programs for PostgreSQL ii python2.4 2.4.4-7 An interactive high-level object-o Versions of packages bacula-director-pgsql recommends: ii postgresql-8.1 8.1.11-0etch1 object-relational SQL database, ve -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
