Package: acpid
Version: 1.0.6-5
Severity: important

When I close the lid, the cpu goes to about 80% and keeps going. When I open
the lid, the cpu keeps running for a long time.
Watching ps shows that acpid is spawning /etc/acpi/lid.sh over and over again.
/etc/acpi/actions/lm_lid.sh is also run from time to time.
Restarting acpid makes no changes.

I updated the package from Lenny to see if it was already fixed. That is to
say, this bug also happens in that version (1.0.4-7.1).

The laptop is a Acer Travelmate 4062. Running Lenny (with very few Sid
packages).

Attached is the log of closing and opening the lid in a short time. I modified
lid.sh (added "set +x") as per suggestion on #debian
