Package: xwnc Severity: normal
Filing a bug is not overkill. The fact that many packages have unclear descriptions (few as confusing as this one, though) is an indication that Debian has many bugs, not that it's a problem. Users rely on package descriptions to understand what the packages do. Here's an improved English version of the description: Xwnc is, like Xvnc, an X server that draws nothing on the screen, but instead draws everything into pixmaps that, along with other information, can be sent to a viewer, using a protocol similar to VNC. FvwmAmetista is such a viewer that uses OpenGL (via nucleo) to render the X desktop into a window of a 3D accelerated X server. I'm not sure whether this removes all the confusion, but it's an improvement. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (700, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-k7 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
