Package: gnumeric Version: 1.8.1-1 Severity: normal I received by email a XLS document and it opened fine. When I tried to print (preview) it however, only blank pages where displayed. It turned out that the culprit was the missing Arial font ; I installed "msttcorefonts" and everything worked properly.
It would be very nice if gnumeric was able to spot the missing fonts and issue a warning instead of the current puzzling behavior.
