Package: misdn-source Version: 1.1.6-1 Followup-For: Bug #453104 Hi, I have made the same experience as the submitter: Loading the misdn module for my card (AVM Fritz pci 2.0) freezes the machine. In fact, to get rid of the modules I had to reboot with init=/bin/bash to have a chance to access the box before it gets frozen due to the modules being loaded.
For now I have still resorted to the proprietary AVM Fritz modules. However, AVM has stopped supporting them a while ago, which means that each new kernel requires new modifications to the open source part of the driver. However, I have now run into several issues which I do not get fixed anymore, and therefore I would be very keen to have working mISDN. Is there anything to be expected in short term?
