This redirect 'bug' is not really a gmailfs bug itself. On my account this 'bug' grows one day before.
Yesterday I've worked with this acocount well... today I've become the 302 too. So, what I found is: * This is a feature of the liburl of the installed phyton package: http://docs.python.org/lib/module-urllib.html -- see class FancyURLopener The libgmail registered it's own handler for http_error_302 but the counter of the 10 retries is handled by the liburl.
