Would you propose glibc maintainers that libc6-i386 package should ship /etc/ld.so.conf.d/i486-linux-gnu.conf and the /lib/i486-linux-gnu and /usr/lib/i486-linux-gnu symlinks then? > (I don't understand your remark about ../lib32.)
