I just checked the code in CVS: This has already been fixed upstream 
after the release of Thuban 1.0.1, so that this bug will be fixed
with the next stable release of Thuban.

It is indeed what I thought: First listing is a Thuban message while
the second one is coming from python. Since the python error could
be something completely different, both listings should appear in my
opinion.
