Package: shorewall Version: 4.0.9-1 Severity: normal I just did an apt-get upgrade which involved shorewall. After the upgrade, I started getting email about needing to run fetchipac -S. Running this, I get a message that libipt_standard.so is missing. That shared object library is attached to the iptables package. But that file is not present in the i386 version of the package, or in a few of the other versions (I didn't look in all of them).
It's entirely possible that this isn't a shorewall problem, but since shorewall works with iptables, that might be why it showed up here. I am not sure, but I think iptables was upgraded recently as well. I don't archive that information. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages shorewall depends on: ii shorewall-shell 4.0.9-1 Shoreline Firewall, Netfilter conf shorewall recommends no packages. -- debconf information: shorewall/upgrade_20_22: shorewall/upgrade_14_20: shorewall/upgrade_to_14: shorewall/warnrfc1918: shorewall/warn_about_klogd_floods: shorewall/dont_restart: shorewall/major_release: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
