OK, this seems to be the filesystem translation code not working. Could you try disabling it (--fstrans=no)? It has been somewhat problematic, so I'm considering disabling it by default. As for the removal of the existing kermit installation, I'd have to inspect the code first (I'm not at home now, will return in a week or so). > > Do you need an strace of the process, or anything further?
